The High School Banquet will be held on Wednesday March 24th at the Pinetree Country Club starting at 7:00 pm - the cost to attend is $20 per person - all players whose family paid the $250 booster club fee in full will be refunded their $20 at the gate - everyone has to pay in advance!  The deadline is Monday March 15th after this deadline the cost is $25 per person with no refunds!!

The season came to an end for the Lady Warriors tonight at Milton when the offense was as cold as the temperature outside scoring only 12 points in the second half!  Only down by 1 at the half the Lady Warriors came out and committed several turnovers and found themselves down 30 to 25 going into the 4th!  That is when the Lady Eagles turned up the pressure and outscored NC 15 to 6 for a 45 to 31 victory ending the season for the second straight year at Milton HS.  The scoring was limited for North Cobb - Jarae Savage with 11, Kira Gordon and Amber Reeves with 7 each, Sandy Almon with 4 and Camia Weems with 2.  Never wanting to put blame on anyone but if some of the obvious fouls had been called it could have been a completely different game - hard to handle the ball when someone is knocking you down and hard to score when they hammer you going to the basket!

In a season where the Lady Warriors were young and without a lot of size they played well beyond anyone's expectations and ended up in the top 16 teams in the toughest classification in the State and without a doubt the toughest Region in the State.

A great group of players that strive to be good athletes, good students and good people on and off the court  under the guidance of Coach Williams, Coach Speeney,Coach Minish and Coach Settle have nothing to be disappointed about and should be proud of this season's accomplishments!

Great job ladies and Coaches - we are proud of you!
